Buffalo Educational Therapy provides intensive individualized academic intervention for adolescents and adults with learning difficulties. BET provides intervention in language processing, motivation, self-esteem, social skills, and executive functions for students who present a wide range of learning disabilities and learning differences, including dyslexia, ADHD, processing problems and academic difficulties or failure. Treatment goals focus on developing a client’s strengths in order to foster learning and develop autonomy in school and at home.
Kristin Heltman-Weiss has been an educator since 1992, teaching at Williamsville North High School, SUNY Buffalo, Canisius College, and more recently as a homeschool teacher, tutor and educational therapist.
Buffalo Educational Therapy is located in East Aurora, NY. Home visits to Buffalo and surrounding suburbs are also available.
